"We've all seen or heard the horror stories of how someone's project has been at a shop for several years along with several other customer cars and nothing ever seems to get done.... Wouldn't it be nice to have someone build your car, while ONLY building your car?

Well, one project at a time is the way Rich does it. Ranging from 5 months to under a year, depending on the complexity of the build, he only does one car at a time, before selecting the next project and moving ahead on that.

While nostalgia cars are his bread and butter, breaking from the "mold" is not out of the question with Rich. He tries not to limit himself or shun ideas for a project that may make for a cool car. Case in point is Jeff Adkins' Killer Bee, not a traditional hot rod but it is one bad sonofabitch!

At Retro Rides by Rich, being able to work with the client is paramount, and if "we can't share the vision", the likelihood of doing a car for them is not possible. "It's all about coming together on an idea to create art, I don't, nor will I build a cookie cutter car, it doesn't help me and doesn't help my clients.

"I love building stuff that gets a reaction from people, sometimes even putting them on their ass."

At Retro Rides by Rich, he doesn't do repairs, updates or partial builds, but only takes a car from concept to the finished project. The only processes not done in house is upholstery and most of the time engine builds. Though he often insists he has hands in those processes, just to make sure that they are done to his, and his clients specifications.
