You know how two musicians, from different bands sometimes like to get togther for an album or just to jam becuase enjoy creating something together? Well that's what me and my pal Bill Valitzski like to do sometimes, however, instead of picking up musical instruments we head for the plasma cutter and the welders!
The Potter Project is the latest creation to roll out of the RRbR studio as a collaboration with good ol' Billy V.
Wes Potter came to me with his '65 Galaxie in terrible shape, having been started by some shop "up north". Well, after me and Billy got our heads wrapped around this special project we cut out 90 percent of the work done to Wes's pride and joy and began engineering a whole new foundation based around his 572 cubic inch Ford thumper built by Al Tunes and Mopey's Performance in Randleman, North Carolina. The car features a Chassis Engineering Mustang II style front clip with engine set back about 12 inches, Wilwood brakes all around, custom headers by Billy, Hughes Performnce transmission, Moser rear etc. etc. Bob Hill did the super comfortable interior in red tweed.
